Hello, in this article i am going to show you many ways to help your SEO efforts be more effective and share with you many tactics you can use.
To start off with i am going to cover, keywords and then on to more advanced tactics. All these tactics of which i am going to show you will improve your seo.
First you need to think about your site. If say like our site is based on web design then you have to keep in mind you are in a highly competitive market and so you must do this with care.
Many sites like - Yahoo and Google have ways of finding the most searched keywords (local or global etc) so what i am going to do is show you how you can use a good search term that may just give you more ranking in the google search.
Say you wanted to be found for web design. Now you already know the search terms for say ?web design? are going to be used already and using that term (when your just starting out) will not be such a great idea.
So let?s change our term to ?web design sussex? already we have added an extra search term which some may not use. Why would a company who has not heard of sussex use sussex? But let?s not stop there let?s go for ?website design sussex? now we have changed our search term but also given extra search terms. Let?s go on more - ?website design sussex uk? do you see where i am going with this?
Ok even if you get some very good search terms you need to understand how it is rated. So you are going to need to get your web page to match your search terms and i am going to give you an example using the following search terms/keywords. ?website design sussex?
Website design is one of the most searched terms for the web design market. But because i am based in Sussex i am going to use my website design sussex as my search term. Using website design sussex will not be hard as i can show that my website is based around my company located in the Sussex area. By using my site with my company i can advice it on my shop window for website design sussex website. This giving me more customers in the Sussex area who need a local company based in sussex to design their website.
Ok so now you have seen my short web page that i used along with me keywords. Have a close look at the keyword i used and the small web page and you will see what i mean.

Here is one tactic that most do not know - post articles!! It?s one of the best ways to get a site linking to you. If the site is very popular then even better as they have a higher page rank and many visitors. Search for a article posting site and post away. Do not spam but just post about your views or help topics. If you help others they might just visit your site. So here are the good points of posting on a article site:
Free link to your site and no hosting a link for them (one way link) Free traffic - people read your article and want more Site promotion - your site is being put out there and people know of you now Google bot may find your link/article and follow it back to your site Your giving them something and your getting more in return. Now before I let you go there is one more tactic you should remember - all your seo efforts are going to take time. If you come here looking for the overnight treatment then you will fail. It can take weeks, months to show any change in your ranking and visitors but that does not mean you should give up. SEO is like having a child - it takes time and patients but if you keep up it it will grow.
